Intensive Spanish Courses

The intensive monthly Spanish courses are arranged each month throughout the year and it is possible to sign up for 2 to 42 weeks. These courses have been created for students wishing to learn Spanish to access courses at the university or just for fun. The intensive courses are designed by experts to ensure maximum exposure and rapid results.

The intensive course is a 4 hour daily (20 hours per week) Spanish programme, and there are 6 different levels available. A placement test, continuous assessment and individual tutorials are included in all UAB Idiomes Barcelona language courses. On completing a course students have the option of obtaining a certificate for their proficiency level by taking the UAB exam.

The daily Spanish language programme in the intensive Spanish course includes 2 hours of Spanish language and Spanish grammar, including communicative practice, listening and reading comprehension. UAB Barcelona guarantees a maximum of 15 students per class which means that each student receives personal attention from the Spanish language professor and you will therefore learn the Spanish language faster.

Who Participate

The intensive Spanish language courses have been designed for students who need to improve their Spanish level in a short space of time. The intensive programme generally has the widest variety of students from all age groups and backgrounds.

Facts

• Number of Classes: 20 hours per week Monday to Friday.
• Levels: 6 different levels (Elementary, Lower Intermediate, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate, Advanced and Proficiency). Levels are based on the European Council's Common European Reference Framework for Language Learning and Teaching.
• Students per Class: 6-15 students per class.
• Schedule: 9am-2pm
