Course Descrpiption
Global cultural dynamics and their impact on business management is the focus of this course. Practical and theoretical tools are provided to illustrate the impact of cultural perspectives on key management issues and to improve effectiveness in international business relations.
Students are given the opportunity to examine their cultural preferences and those of other world economies, arriving at a better understanding of the growing importance of cultural awareness in the global marketplace.
Among other topics, the course compares business environments throughout the world by addressing cultural aspects such as individualism vs. collectivism, time perception, the division between work and private life and leadership styles.
