Course Description

International BusinessFor those who plan on doing business in Europe, this course offers valuable insight into international management as applied to foreign markets. Countries such as Germany, the UK, France, Spain and Italy are studied in detail, taking cultural and economic factors into account to enable the student to effectively navigate the international business domain.

Key topics include European politics, economic protocols, social dynamics and negotiation strategies. Students gain a broader understanding of European culture and how to conduct business not only in the EU but also in Latin-American and Asian markets. Particular attention is given to export-import procedures from a business relationship and managerial point of view.
