Studying in a foreign country broadens the mind and looks great on your resume. The Autonomus Barcelona University (UAB) arranges Spanish courses and AcademicSemesters throughout the year where foreigners can study Spanishalongside English taught humanities, business and cultural subjects.
Intensive Spanish Courses
The Intensive courses have been designed by experts to ensure maximumexposure and rapid results. The courses begin every month and studentsmust attend for 4 hours per day, 20 hours per week. There are sixability levels and students are assessed and placed accordingly at thestart of the course. Intensive courses are open to complete beginnersas well as to those with some knowledge of Spanish. Students must beover the age of 16 to enrol on a course. Class sizes are between 6-15students.

Study Abroad Academic Semester
1. Spring & Autumn Program
This program has been designed for students wishing to spend a semesterstudying abroad. Students have an extensive range of English taughtclasses to choose from as well as the option to take a Spanish Languageor Business Spanish class. Students can choose the number of subjectsthey want to do, from two to five subjects per semester and credits canbe gained from all classes. Each subject is 45 hours long and oncompletion of the program students will receive a certificate to obtaincredits for these subjects at their home university. Knowledge ofSpanish is not necessary as all classes are taught in English with theexception of the Spanish Language Course or the Spanish Business course.

2. Summer Program
In only one month students have the opportunity to attend a series of 45 hour long subjectsthat will count towards credits at their home university.
